Siena FC is thrilled to be joining the amazing programme Playmakers – a fun-filled initiative from UEFA and Disney, specially created to introduce young girls to football in a way that’s full of adventure, imagination and joy.
This isn’t your typical football training. Playmakers brings Disney stories like Frozen 2 and The Incredibles 2 to life through movement, teamwork and creativity.
Girls aged 5 to 8 will step into the story, train like superheroes, and play as their favourite characters – whether that’s sprinting like Dash, freezing goals like Elsa, or stretching like Elastigirl!
Playmakers is designed to build confidence, social skills and coordination, while making sure every session is packed with fun and excitement.
It’s about growing through sport, not just on the pitch – but off it, too.
“We’re so excited to be part of Playmakers. It’s a fantastic way to show girls just how fun football can be,” says Jenny Damgaard, Head of Girls’ and Women’s Football at Siena FC.
This autumn, we’re kicking off new girls’ teams in Pulcine and Esordienti – and they’ll be part of the Playmakers adventure!
Our coaches will be specially trained in the UEFA and Disney methodology to ensure every girl feels supported, inspired and empowered.
